- Geekcorps - a US-based, non-profit organization which places international technical volunteers in developing nations. Geekcorps contributes to local IT projects while transferring the technical skills needed to keep projects moving after their volunteers have returned home.
- ITToolBox - a useful source of information and contacts for knowledge management, networks, systems, data management and many other IT topics
- The Linux Foundation - an easy way to track some state of the art work going on in the open source world that is targeted towards commerical usage.
- Pau Cité Multimedia - a high tech center located on the outskirts of a beautiful city in the southwest of France where I had a virtual office.
- BE-Group - The company (GIS, information management, 3D visualization...) in which the virtual office mentioned above is physically located in France.
